How to Use the OneTouch Delica Lancing Device?
OneTouch Delica Lancing Device is only compatible with OneTouch Delica 30g Fine lancets. To ensure sterility, patients should use a new lancet every time they perform a blood glucose test. OneTouch Delica Lancing Device has seven puncture depth settings. In order to achieve accurate results, the setting chosen should be deep enough to obtain a round, large drop of capillary blood. For more information on the appropriate blood sample size, refer to the user guide that is enclosed with the device.
If the blood runs, patients should dry the area and get a new drop of blood (alternatively, puncture a new site).

Target blood glucose range
The individual blood glucose target range is determined by the practitioner. In adults, the normal fasting blood glucose ranges from 70mg/dL to 110mg/dL. The normal blood glucose range two hours after a meal should be lower than 140mg/dL.
